Company founder, Gary Johnson, started in the insurance industry in 1983 in Austin and went on to serve as the executive officer of the Dallas offices of the third largest publicly held broker in the world. He founded Grayhawk in 1997. Gary passed away in Mabank, Texas on June 27, 2012.
